Palmer Council on Aging & Palmer Public Library Present Life With Bill - A New Model for Aging

Seniors, caregivers, and all are welcome!

Life With Bill is a ninety-minute performance featuring stories and music by local author, storyteller, film maker, and musician Nick Kachulis, about his experience as primary caregiver for his father as he struggled with dementia the last four years of his life. Musical friends join the show, and a talk back follows. The story is an intimate portrayal of family life, community engagement, and personal transformation and speaks to the power of music, art, and stories to heal, empower, and sustain us.

Heartfelt, funny and thought-provoking, Life With Bill invites us to recognize that our older years are not just full of struggle and discomfort, but of rebirth, rejuvenation, and joy even against unexpected odds. The show is educational and entertaining and reminds us of the value of belonging, redefining the language of elder life by presenting a new model for aging.
